Episode 43: Dr. Felipe Rojas Silva

Felipe Rojas is associate professor of archaeology at Brown University. His book The Pasts of Roman Anatolia: Interpreters, Traces, Horizons (2019) examines Roman-period manipulations of Bronze- and Iron-Age material remains in what is now Turkey. Among his publications are the co-edited volumes Afterlives of Ancient Rock-Cut Monuments in the Near East (2021) and Otros pasados: ontologías alternativas y el estudio de lo que ha sido (2022) He has conducted archaeological fieldwork in Turkey and Jordan at sites including Aphrodisias, Sardis, Notion, Labraunda, and Petra. He is the co-director of the Petra Terraces Archaeological Project and was the associate director of the Notion Archaeological Survey.
