Dr. Amy Pistone

Amy Pistone is an Assistant Professor at Gonzaga University where she is the sole Hellenist, so she gets to teach and work on a wide range of topics. She did her PhD at the University of Michigan, where her dissertation focused on oracular language in the plays of Sophocles, but she has recently worked on postcolonial reception, Greek mythology in comic books, ancient athletics, and ancient Greek drinking games.
